Joy & Revelry Style Summit

image

{That’s a wrap! The Style Mavens—Kelli Ryder from Rue, Courtney Lake from Courtney Out Loud, Chelsea Horsley from Yours Truly, Brynn Dunn from Brynn Alexandra, Reichel Broussard from Copy Cat Chic, and Me after wrapping our first shoot together!}

I’ve been working on a very exciting project with a new website called Joy & Revelry lately! Joy & Revelry officially launches later this month, but in the meantime, I can tell you that it will be an amazing online shopping destination offering a stylish selection of home décor products curated by the Joy & Revelry Style Mavens. I was honored to be invited to be a Style Maven and was thrilled to spend a fast and furious weekend in San Francisco for the Joy & Revelry Style Summit. The Style Summit gave us with an opportunity to get to know the team while spending two full days shooting some fun images and videos for the upcoming launch. When we weren’t collaborating on ideas for each of our online stores—that’s right, La Dolce Vita will have a store soon where I can share some of my favorite home décor finds with you!—we were having a blast cracking each other up.

{The Joy and Revelry Team rented a gorgeous house in San Francisco’s tony Pacific Heights Neighborhood for us to stay in. The views from the rooftop were absolutely breathtaking. Can you imagine having access to this gorgeous view everyday? The house was lovely and memorable as well. Let’s just say we were locked out a couple of times, there may have been a breaking and entering situation, and a hilarious locksmith involved. I wish we’d had some cameras rolling because there were definitely multiple moments that would have made for reality TV gold!}

{On the first night, we enjoyed a fabulous chef-prepared dinner at the house with the group. Clearly, we’re all bloggers entrenched in social media, if you couldn’t tell by the fact that we’re all engrossed by our phones in this image captured by Reichel.}

{The next day, we ventured to a charming town called Lafayette in the East Bay where we would shot photos and filmed videos in a beautiful home. The house has been used for countless shoots including Pottery Barn catalogs and Apple commercials. This is a preview of one of the vignettes I styled for my store as we were shooting. The entire production team—stylist Nissa, photographer Lu, videographer Marcus, and the Joy & Revelry founders were fantastic to work with. It really was a wonderful experience.}

{You can’t quite tell from this image, but the views in the master bath are incredible.}

{On our last night, we were treated to the most delicious dinner at Isa in the Marina in San Francisco. Caitlin from Sacramento Street joined us that evening. It’s always lovely to see blog friends!}

Stay tuned for the official launch of Joy & Revelry in the upcoming weeks! I am super excited and can’t wait to share more details with you!
